I've finally got some free time to start working on this, and damnit, I want things to be good this time around.

So, I will begin working on the website. I've got a local development environment loaded at my house, that mimics the entire CG site perfectly. This will not be an overnight project, but I will put stuff up here when I can.

Here are the current goals, please give suggestions if you have any:

- Upgrade forums to newest version (May require a data conversion again, but I can handle that).

- Re-create entire main site. This includes:
- synching with forum posts & logins
- creating new area for posting LAN parties
- overhaul of design and layout

I'm also thinking of adding a place where LAN party photos (Or ScreenShots) can be added, but we'll see.

When I get some more stuff done, I may ask a few of you to "beta-test" the new designs. Having a few extra pairs of eyes looking for bugs can be helpful.

(I will edit this post as necessary, including all updates I have completed)

With this in mind, I am also cleaning out some data on the forums. There is a lot of old code and tables in the DB that are no longer needed. I'm a bit anal about this type of stuff, so I'll be removing it all.

I also will be removing people who have *never* logged in since we did the forums upgrade about 1.5 years ago. There are 45 users that this will affect, some were very strong CG members, others have posted maybe once or twice. All posts created by these people will still be visible, but there will no longer be a user associated with them.

I'll post a full list here, in case anybody cares. If you know any of these people, and think they would like to keep their account, feel free to tell them, and if they are unable to access their old account's e-mail, I can manually change information for them and activate their account after some sort of verification. If people don't read these forums, and find this post later on, they can contact me and I will resurrect their account if they want.

So, here are the 45 accounts (Out of 103 actual users) that will be deleted within the week:

AGENT-CHAOS, Birdman, blackbird415, BlindDrunk, Bumper, Cheyenne Tone, ColdFIre, CRPxCCCP, CSU_SILENT_RUN, Deathlok, DKElite,
dreadlocks, Duneroc, element, Getty, HAMMERHEAD, JDnCoke, Jet, lefamonster, lifespent, Lista, locke, lroberts, mindaugas, modpersys,
NecoLAN, Novicaine, SadistiKNinjaX, Sgraffite, spartan, stratus, testament13, theboomboom, thejoester, thenookie, Thruster, tijema,
trinity17, Vader, vicente_louvet, VirtualWorldDenver, Volshyebnik, YamaLlama, YonksMan, ZJbrandon

Let me know if you need a hand at all Daddy. I'm familiar with a few different CMSs including PostNuke, Joomla and a few others. Forum board software I've used & administer vBulletin, phpBB and a few others. Still working on my skills on PHP coding but I know a little bit of that as well.

Will do. I haven't decided if I'm going to use a pre-built CMS, or just custom code something to fit our exact needs. Also, the forums we are using is YAF.NET, which is an open-source forum software written in .NET (Which is my strongest skillset). I used to code in PHP, and that's what the main site currently is in, but the hosting box allows for .NET, so I'm gonna take advantage of that and do some cool things. Zambeste However, I'm always open to suggestions
